Folk rock to punk your life

An angry cèilidh with Songs about the modern world.

Formed in early 2020 on the brink of lockdown, this band began life as the brainchild of Liam Vincent. A singer and songwriter with years of gigging under his belt, he missed the feeling of being in a band and thus, The Odd Foxes were formed. With a similar, but fatter sound than Frank Turner, this band promises their songs "all have something to say, either by whispering in your ear or rattling your ribcage". Armed with thumping drums and sweet, sweet violin, who's to argue?

As a full band they're two music videos deep, with "Watching You" and "Hate My Plate". Both available on YouTube and both gloriously raucous, you can imagine how much fun these people have when playing the songs live. I'm looking forward to hearing more from this wonderful fusion of indie rock and folk.

Liam Vincent & The Odd Foxes are Liam, Rebecca, Gregg, Matt and Diz. They are playing next at the Foodies Festival Oxford on the 29th of August.
